  • 3. What do I need to do?
    • I have already created a project Plan using Teamwork to plan and monitor the activities involved in organizing Clearsoft’s User Conference.
    • The User Conference preparation has been completed and the conference itself has taken place.
    • It has been a great success so now I wish to evaluate the team members’ work and assign bonuses accordingly.
  • 4. What do I need to do?
    • For the sake of the exercise I will review the work of two of my team members and of the work they have done.
    • I will review and award bonuses for the following tasks assigned to the Top Goal: Gather and prepare presentation materials
      • Gather roadmap materials
        • Assigned to and completed by Jason Heggs
      • Gather customer success stories
        • Assigned to and completed by Andrea New
  • 5.
    • Clearvale’s Teamwork tool has been used to set up the project for the organization of the Clearsoft User Conference and to coordinate the team involved in the organization.
    • The goals and tasks have been set to complete and for each goal and task it is possible to assign a Reviewer Rating ranging from 0 –100
      • This counts towards an overall evaluation ‘score’ that can be viewed in one of the Reports available in Teamwork.
    • Within Teamwork it is possible to create a Bonus plan based on the activities of a project plan and to assign bonuses to the individuals involved.
    How can Clearvale help ?
  • 6. How to: Assign review ratings
    • Only the reviewer of a Goal or Task may assign review ratings.
    • You will need to log into the Clearvale network and then to access the Teamwork plan as the reviewer
      • Go to the My Objectives tab and select your plan.
      • Double-click on the goal or task you wish to assign a review rating for.
  • 7. How to: assign review ratings
    • In this example you can set the Reviewer rating for a Top Goal or a Sub Goal.
    • Then press Save.

    • In this example you can set the Reviewer rating for a Task.
    • Then press Save

    • We will deal only with Jason Heggs and Andrea New
      • In the summary below we can see that Jason Heggs has two activities assigned (one goal and one task).
      • Andrea New has one activity assigned.
    • Here we can see the summary of the reviewer rating each member has received.
  • 10. How to: report on evaluations
    • We will now create a report which summarizes evaluations assigned to project members.
    • To create the report:
      • go to the Reports tab.
      • select the ‘My Reports’ task Completion Evaluation’ report.
      • Select the plan to report on.
  • 11. How to: report on evaluations
    • In this example the reviewer can see the overall reviewer rating for the work carried out by the people reporting to the reviewer.
  • 12. How to: create and manage a Bonus plan
    • Based on the evaluations and reviews you will now assign bonuses to the project team members.
    • To create a bonus plan:
      • Go to the Performance and Bonus tab.
      • Click on Add to add a new Bonus plan.
    • You will then provide the relevant details on the Bonus Plan as shown on the following slide.

  • 14. How to: create and manage a Bonus plan
    • Select the project plan for which you wish to assign bonuses.
    • The start and end dates will default to those defined on the plan.
    • Give the Bonus a name, the total to be awarded for all the bonuses and the bonus reviewer.

    • The Total Real Bonus will be the sum total of all the possible bonuses awarded to each individual (it should not exceed the Total Target Bonus.
    • The Bonus status will be set to submitted once the bonus plan has been defined and approved by the reviewer.
