Over 95% of adoptions have some contact with the birth parent
Over 90% have a plan for some ongoing, direct contact post placement between the adoptive parents, the birth parents and the child

OUTREACH In 2008, LSS placed 73 infants through our domestic adoption program The Changing Face of Adoption

OUTREACH A few years had passed, and Rob called Wayne one morning and asked if we were still interested in adopting a child.

OUTREACH Rob (a doctor) had just delivered a beautiful baby boy, and the birth parents were unable to care for him….

OUTREACH We arrived in Illinois at 2:00 am Friday.

OUTREACH The next day we met the birth parents and by Sunday we were blessed with taking little Isaac William out of the hospital. ~Julie & Wayne

In the spring of 2007 we wrote a letter and made family cards (like business cards) and sent them to everyone we could think of….. OUTREACH

OUTREACH We were registered with Hands to Hold Referral Agency for about two weeks when we got the news that we were chosen by a birthmother in North Carolina.

OUTREACH Two weeks later we were on the plane to North Carolina for the birth of our baby girl, Ayla. ~Dan and Angie
