    2. 2. Speed Skating When you are speed skating you skate around a 400 metre oval ice rink.The athletes compete in pairs taking turns to change lanes from inside to out side or outside to inside.
    3. 3. Snowboard! In the parallel slalom,two snowboarders race down the course,turning through the series of the gates. The fastest snowboarders can go to the next round. The top finishes compete in 9 runs.
    4. 4. ICE HOCKEY During the olympic winter games, eight women’s teams and 12 mens teams compete in round robin tournaments. top seeded teams from round robin play advance to the playoff rounds.
    5. 5. Bobsleigh Today’s bobsleigh is built to be fast and aerodynamic, with a rounded fiberglass nose and four highly polished steel runners. To begin, the racers, start off in fast mode as they can for 50 metres, then jump on the bobsleigh in a seated descent down the track.The drivers steers down the track, while at the end of the race, the brakeman finished the sled.
