SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR SOLDERING<br />1. Never touch the element or tip of the soldering iron<br />
2. Take great care to avoid touching the main flex with the tip of the soldering iron<br />
3. Always return the soldering iron to its stand when not in use<br />
4. Work in a well-ventilated area<br />
5. Wash your hands after using solder<br />
PREPARING THE SOLDERING IRON<br />1. Place the soldering iron in its stand and plug in <br />
2. Dampen a wet cloth in the stand<br />
3. Wait a few minutes for the soldering iron to warm up<br />
4. Wipe the tip of the iron on the wet cloth <br />
5. Melt a little solder on the tip of the soldering iron<br />
6. Hold the soldering iron like a pen, near the base of the handle<br />
7. Ready to start soldering<br />
USEFUL TIPS FOR SOLDERING<br />1. Keep the iron tip clean<br />Use a wet cloth to clean the tip every now and then<br />
2. Double check joints<br />
3. Solder small parts first<br />
