      • Find out how to say hello in that language. (A really useful site for this is Newbury Park School )
      • Use ‘audacity’ to record yourselves saying it, click on export as mp3 and save to an appropriate folder.
      • Now click ‘Insert’ then ‘Movies & Sounds’ then ‘Sounds from file’, locate your clip and click ok to insert it onto your slide.
    16. Eurovision Language Shock
      • Read this article from the BBC about the 2008 entry from France.

    17. 5 th Task (Drama, MFL. PE & Music Objectives )
      • Use a site such as Mama Lisa’s World to find a short song or rhyme from your chosen country
      • (or any French, Spanish, German song if your teacher agrees)
      • In your groups, rehearse singing & performing your song. You may want to make a routine up too.
      • Decide as a class whether to video your acts or to perform them live for the 6 th Task
    18. So what do this years entries sound like?
      • You can watch them on the official YouTube Eurovision channel

    19. 6 th Task (Drama, MFL. PE & Music Objectives )
      • You will need a presenter to hold your own Eurovision Song Contest now.
      • In your groups, (with or without costumes!) take turns to perform your song & routine to the rest of the class.

    21. The Voting MFL Oracy & Maths Objectives
      • Traditionally votes must be reported by each country in French to the ‘presenters’.
      • When it is your country’s turn to report their votes, start with the highest for example ‘La France; 12 points’
      • Presenters must keep track of the score either on the board or using Scorewiz
    22. To complete your project
      • Go back and delete all the instruction / task slides, keeping only the maps, information slides and slides created by your class.
      • Add any additional slides with photos, video clips and/or sound clips of your class and their acts / the voting.
      • Save and keep as evidence when working towards an International Schools Award !
