Definition: <ul><li>This type of magazine contains information about the weeks events such as broadcasting programming, clubs, music, theatre and film information. </li></ul><ul><li>The magazines are usually published on a Sunday or published weekly or fortnightly to give information about upcoming events. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Examples: <ul><li>Buzz </li></ul><ul><li>Radio Times </li></ul><ul><li>TV Choice </li></ul><ul><li>TV and Satellite </li></ul><ul><li>We Love Telly </li></ul>
  4. 5. <ul><li>A large image of the characters on one side of the page. </li></ul><ul><li>Title in big, block letters on top of the image. </li></ul><ul><li>Small caption about when the programme is shown on TV. </li></ul><ul><li>Two columns of text with a small image in the middle. </li></ul><ul><li>Image takes up the whole double-page spread </li></ul><ul><li>Title in two different fonts to emphasise the word ‘blood’. </li></ul><ul><li>Quote in top right corner </li></ul><ul><li>Character profiles in a box in the corner </li></ul><ul><li>Two columns of text with a small image on the side. </li></ul>

Our Double-Page Spread <ul><li>We could include: </li></ul><ul><li>A large image to cover the whole double page. </li></ul><ul><li>Fact profile on one side about fast food and obesity. </li></ul><ul><li>A big, bold title. Simple font. </li></ul><ul><li>Two columns of text with a small photo in the middle. </li></ul>
