  • VRG Dongwha, a joint venture between the Viet Nam Rubber Group (Vietnam) and the Dongwha Group (Korea), was established in 2008. In 28/2/2012, the factory operated officially that is known as largest MDF plant in Asia. VRG Dongwha Company has about 200 employees including workers, operators, technical, office staffs, clerk, executive and management.
  • The top layer of management is General Director- Mr. KwangByeoungChae, lower layer is Head of Division with 7 managers have direct connection with the General Director. And the last layer includes 15 departments with 12 departments have managers who are Head of Department of VRG Dongwha have direct connection to Head of Division. Specially, 3 departments are HR Dept., Chemical Plant, Planning & Corporate Dept. have managers who are Head of Division that have direct connection to General Director.
  • Board of DirectorVRG Dongwha’s Board of Director has 1 General Director- Mr. KB Chae and 1 Deputy General Director- Mr. TN Thanh. Board of Director has responsibilities to plan, manage and operate business strategies as well as orient to widen relationship with partners. They also assign functional tasks for Head of Division and control activities of Departments in the company.
  • Production Management Dept. PMD has employees undertake to manage the production process. PMD receives and censors orders from Purchasing Dept. and shifts satisfactory orders to MDF Production Dept.. During production process, PMD supervise and control production upon phases. When production process finish, PMD combines with MDF Production Dept. and QA Dept. to censors product quality and contact with Logistic Dept. to export products. MDF Production Dept. This Dept. receives orders from PMD and carries out production process. During production process, Production Dept. coordinates and supervises production. After production process finish, MDF Production process associates with Logistics Dept. to distribute goods to customers.Engineering Dept.Engineering Dept. undertakes 2 fields including mechanical field and electrical field. In technical activities, mechanical field has responsibility in maintainance and repair machines, engine in the factory. Electrical field adjusts and watches for electric current in machines, design circuit that make engines work effectively.
  • Raw Material Dept.Raw Material Dept. is responsible for raw material procurement such as wood and ensures the quantity of woods can meet the requirement of production order in MDF Production Dept.Health Safe Environment Dept.HSE Dept. establishes disciplines and regulation in labor protection for whole company from office to plant. They regulate rules to make sure that employees work in safe environment and fresh for environment.General Affair Dept.General Affair Dept. has responsibility to arrange accommodation, transportation for customers, purchasing office equipments for office. They also undertake to order uniforms and other stationeries for staffs in the company.
  • Logistics Dept. Main task of logistics Dept. is that receives orders from customers and export products in domestic and international. They also find out prestige suppliers to import high quality goods. In export field, they not only distribute, observe products but also make sure that customers can receive goods successfully. Besides, they also associate with custom- house to accomplish export procedure.Sales and Sales Management Dept.Two those Dept. have representative office in 9th Floor, Room 907, Le Thanh Ton Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1. Sale Dept. undertakes distribution of products to customers and associates with Logistics Dept. for international order. Sales Management Dept. launches business strategies to seek, attract, maintain customers. SM Dept. also receives feedback from customers and responses them.Finance & Accounting Dept.F&A Dept. has responsibility to manage finance & plan accounting for whole company that follow the charter and law of government. Periodic reports in accordance with planning budget revenues and expenditures in order to meet the company's demand.

QA Dept. identifies, controls and adjusts all elements have direct impact on creating quality and maintain that the product quality will be guaranteed.Purchasing Dept.Purchasing has responsibility in buying material-tool- components, machinery, equipments for internal divisions. Purchasing also buy goods for the requirements arising unexpectedly or the number of small suppliers that are not delivers.
  • Human Resource Dept.HR Dept. creates an equal employment opportunity regulation and provides a sufficient supply of qualified individuals to fill jobs in the company. In internal company, HR orients for new employees and makes plans in training and development. HR also refines basic compensation system and benefit for employees. HR interlinks staffs in other departments as well as managers and employees upon Labor Relation.Chemical PlantPlant produces chemicals that serve for MDF manufacturing process.Planning and Corporate Dept.
  • Advising: Help to define the strategy relative to human capital & its contribution to organizational results.Service: satisfy demand about HR of other department and interlink employees in the company.Controlling: administrate & adjust HR as well as balance the sufficient human capital for the company.
  • HR has 3 main roles including Advising, Service and Controlling and 5 main functions including Staffing, Talent Management & Development, Benefit & Compensation, HR Planning and Labor Relation. In the first week, I focused on Staffing- Collect & Recruitment with the instruction of HR Executive.
  • VRG Dongwha applies 2 recruiting source choices: Internal versus External. Internal source is through VRG DongWha employee’s introduction while external source is from vocational school, labor central, internet, head hunter service. Besides, recruiting position have 2 types are low and high. With high position from executive to management, VRG Dongwha uses Kiemviec.com as internet recruiting tools for external choices and orients Vietnamworks.com in the future. For low position such as workers, recruitment notice is stuck in canteen or company’s gate to attract local persons.
  • When some departments in the company have the demand of recruitment, HR is responsible for sending them Recruitment Request and receiving filled form with recruiting information. HR executives base on Recruitment Request & Job Description to post Recruitment Notice.
