  • 1. Using EnGrade<br />An Instructional Classroom Tool<br />

Why EnGrade?<br />Engrade is a free set of web-based tools for educators allowing them to manage their classes online.<br />It also provides parents and students with 24/7 online access.<br />It's private, secure, truly free, and easy to use. <br />EnGrade was founded in 2003.<br />Engrade currently serves nearly 2 million registered administrators, teachers, parents, and students! <br />

  • 4. Creating A Quiz<br />Step One:<br />From your home page, hover your mouse over the “Apps” tab at the top of the page.<br />Click on “Quizzes”<br />Your screen should look like the one below.<br />Click “Create New Quiz”<br />
  • 5. Creating A Quiz<br />The next screen is shown below:<br />Type the Quiz Title in the box.<br />Choose a time limit (if preferred)<br />Choose randomized question order (if preferred)<br />Click “Submit”<br />

  • 7. Creating A Quiz<br />The next screen is shown below:<br />Type the desired question in the question box.<br />Type answer options in the corresponding boxes<br />Choose the correct answer (on right)<br />Choose randomized question order (if preferred)<br />Click “Add Question”<br />
  • 8. Creating A Quiz<br />The next screen is shown below:<br />From this screen, you can add more questions<br />You can also edit or delete questions that you currently have.<br />After adding all questions, click “assign to classes”.<br />
  • 9. Creating A Quiz<br />The next screen is shown below:<br />Be sure that the correct quiz name is in the “Quiz” box<br />Click the box(es) next to the classes that you would like to assign the quiz to.<br />Then click “submit”<br />
  • 10. Grades for Quizzes<br />To get to the grades for assigned quizzes, follow these steps:<br />From your home page, click “classes” on the top toolbar<br />Then click on the class that you would like to retrieve grades from.<br />On the left side of your screen, you will see an option called “quizzes”, click that tab. <br />See Screen Below<br />
  • 11. Grades for Quizzes<br />The next screen is shown below:<br />Click on the assigned quiz in which you need grades for<br />Be sure to click on the title of the quiz, it will be BLUE in color.<br />
  • 12. Grades for Quizzes<br />You will see the below screen next:<br />Here you can see a table with student name, score, what time they started the quiz, and what time they ended the quiz.<br />You may then choose to print an answer grid or close quiz.<br />
