What is E-Rate?• Known as the Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Fund• Administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC)• Under direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)• Provides discounts to assist schools and libraries to obtain telecommunications and Internet access• $2.25 Billion annually to eligible schools
