This is a live recording of the speech, in Telugu, given to a batch of administrative staff from APSRTC, as a part of the one day training programme, organized at Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad.

An earlier presentation, titled as Moral and Ethical Values was modified
partly, certain additional slides were added, and thus a new power point presentation was designed.

The purpose of having work ethics, the importance of honest hard work and diligence were explained. The need for objectivity, for having a value-orientation, for becoming a better motivated person, for becoming more responsive, etc. were stressed.

You would be better able to appreciate the beauty and the purpose of the presentation when both the audio version, uploaded to www.archive.org [please search for Prof. V. Viswanadham – and further sort the results by “date added” – to easily locate this item], and the relevant power point presentation that can be viewed at www.scribd.com [please search for Viswam.vangapally4581] and / or www.slideshare.net/viswanadham - taken together as a package.

It is humbly suggested that you may please use the power point presentations, freely. Please feel free to refer to these websites to your friends and motivate them to become better, continuously.

Please help me to spread the motivating message to as many people as possible.

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Creativity in Effective Teaching was the topic for one of the sessions in the
Staff Development Programme on “Enhancing Professional and Instructional Skills of Young Faculty” [from 11-12-2009 to 18-12-2009].

Everyone is creative – Teachers must be more so. Teaching must be effective. Creativity improves effectiveness. Teachers must be motivated to continuously search for opportunities to improve creativity in their presentations. Further, they must motivate the students to improve their creativity. This was the main theme of the presentation.

Five Power Point presentations were used:
20091215 – [1] – Creativity
20091215 – [2] – Effective Teaching
20091215 – [3] – Creativity
20091215 – [4] – Excellence, Creativity and Effective Teaching
20091215 – [5] – Some points for Discussion

The lecture was mainly in English, but keeping in view, the nature of the topic and a particular point to be stressed, Telugu / Hindi were also liberally used.

The live recording of the speech can be listened to / downloaded, by visiting www.archive.org and searching for Prof. V. Viswanadham, [and locating this particular item]. Further, if the displayed results are sorted by date added, it would be easier to locate this particular speech.

It would be better to have a view of the power point presentations, either before or while listening to the uploaded audio version. The power point presentations can be viewed at www.scribd.com (please search for Viswam.vangapally4581), and / or www.slideshare.net/viswanadham. It would be better to download and then view the presentations, because the animations can be better seen.

There are many other speeches on related topics, along with power point presentations, and all these can be freely listened to / viewed at the sites referred above. You would definitely find some variety and difference in the presentation – as I consider it my duty to make the presentations in a different manner, each time the topic is discussed. This is only to assure you that you can take the risk of listening to the lectures on the same topic given to different audiences, at different places.

It is also added that you may feel free and make unrestricted use of the power point presentations. Please help me to reach your friends, through you, so that my idea of motivating teachers to become better teachers can reach many more interested persons.

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

20091215 – Creativity in Effective Teaching - Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad.

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

2.	SUCCESS depends on ATTITUDE [and not RESOURCES] Please REFLECT and ACT With grateful thanks adapted by Prof. V. Viswanadham
3.	The difference between the poor countries and the rich ones is NOT the age of the country.
4.	This can be explained : Countries like India & Egypt, are thousands of years old and yet are poor.
5.	On the other hand, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, that were unknown few hundreds of years ago today are developed countries and are rich.
6.	The difference between poor and rich countries does not reside in the available natural resources .
7.	Japan has a limited territory, 80% mountainous, prone to earthquakes, inadequate for agriculture & cattle raising, but it is the second world economy . The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw material from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.
8.	Switzerland Does not plant cocoa but has the best chocolate of the world. In its little territory they raise animals and plant the soil during 4 months per year, but they produce dairy products of the best quality. It is a small country that transmits an image of security, order & labor, which made it the world’s strong safe.
9.	What then is the contributing factor ? Significant intellectual differences ? Surely, Indians are not intellectually inferior.
10.	The difference lies in the attitude of the People.
11.	On comparing and analyzing the attitudes and behavior of the people, we find that a great majority of the rich and developed countries follow the following principles in their lives:
12.	1. Values and Ethics 2. Integrity. 3. Responsibility. 4. Respect for the laws & rules. 5. Respecting the rights of other citizens. 6. Work loving– honest and hardworking. 7. Strive for saving & investment. 8. Will of super action. 9. Punctuality.
13.	In poor countries, it is generally observed that only a small minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.
14.	We are not poor because we lack natural resources or because we are intellectually inferior.
15.	We are poor because we lack the right attitude.
16.	Is there Anything that WE CAN DO ?

1.	SRI SATHYA SAI Quotable Quotes - 005 A humble presentation by Prof. V. Viswanadham
2.	Ego lives by getting and forgetting; Love lives by giving and forgiving.
3.	Love is expansion; Self is contraction; Self is lovelessness; Love is selflessness.
4.	Haste makes waste; Waste makes worry; So, do not be in a hurry.
5.	You are not one person, but three: The one you think you are; The one others think you are; The one you really are.
6.	Money comes and g o e s; morality comes and g r o w s .
7.	Every experience is a lesson, every loss is a gain.
8.	If wealth is lost, nothing is lost. If health is lost, something is lost. If character is lost, all is lost.
9.	What is needed today is that we should lead a life of good quality. The fostering of sterling character and good conduct is the need of the world. Once we have greater numbers of such people of good quality, the country and the world will become prosperous and peaceful.
10.	You must act ever in the consciousness of your divinity and recognize in each being, a brother, a child of God. The whole world is one family.
11.	We can be successful leaders only if we are disciplined followers, who do not issue commands to others but rather set an example of service in our actions.
12.	If you have the inclination to do good work, God will give you the time to do good things.
13.	Come just one step forward , I shall take a hundred towards you. Shed one tear, I shall wipe a hundred from your eyes.
14.	Just a moment please ... Sri Sathya Sai’s Quotable Quotes need no further explanation or any introduction. In my humble opinion, you have to FEEL – feel them, one by one, in your heart. Reflect on that single idea – let it sink into the depths of your heart, linger long enough to get internalized, so that in your Thought, Word and Action – and thus in your Character, get reflected transparently, convincingly, continuously, and may I be permitted to say, in a contagious manner. Live … Yes, LIVE in the light of the meaning of these words, and you would experience what it means to live a life of purpose.
15.	A very humble presentation on the occasion of Swami’s Birthday on 23rd November 2009. In case you liked these quotes – tell your friends and help me to spread the message of LOVE. Your feedback, will be highly appreciated. Viswam.vangapally@gmail.com

2.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated.
3.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Faith in ourselves and faith in God: this is the secret of Greatness, for God is Love.
4.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Good ideas, good conduct and adherence to Truth should result from our education. Only those who acquire these qualities can be called truly educated.
5.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Every action of yours at the present time is bound to have a reaction, resound and reflection in the future.
6.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Reach the point where churches, temples, mosques do not matter, where all roads end, from where all roads run.
7.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Doing one's duty, however small, in an unattached manner gives rise to the awakening of self awareness.
8.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Bend the body, mend the senses and end the mind – this is the way to Immortality.
9.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. God has no preferences and prejudices; His is but reaction, reflection and resound.
10.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Where there is Faith, there is Love; Where there is Love, there is Peace; Where there is Peace, there is Truth; Where there is Truth, there is God; Where there is God, there is Bliss.
11.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Life is Love, enjoy it; Life is Challenge, meet it; Life is a Song, sing it; Life is a Dream, realize it; Life is a Game, play it; Life is a Goal, achieve it.
12.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. There is only one religion, the religion of Love; There is only one language, the language of the Heart; There is only one caste, the caste of Humanity; There is only one law, the law of Karma; There is only one God, He is Omnipresent.
13.	Education softens the heart. If the heart is hard, one cannot claim to be educated. Nations are many, but Earth is one; Beings are many, but Breath is one; Stars are many, but Sky is one; Oceans are many, but Water is one; Religions are many, but God is one; Jewels are many, but Gold is one; Appearances are many, but Reality is One.
