The current version has not been fully populated with attributes but the required data structures should be in place. The model covers all types of media assets, not just linear television programmes. The structure of the model is supporting Linear Television Programmes, Radio Programmes, Interactive Services, Promotions, Web Pages, Interstitials and Scripts etc. Several areas will require further analysis; this will be highlighted in the detail of the document. It is expected that this will be looked at in the detailed design phase. One of the main focuses of the model is that the asset information should be held separately from information about the usage of that asset; this will simplify the reuse of the assets, from an information point of view. The concepts Publishable Asset and Media Asset have been introduced to the model to support this separation of the data.
