The work <ul><li>In all roles you are a representative of St George’s but some are more specific… </li></ul><ul><li>Open day guide </li></ul><ul><li>Delivering a presentation about your course </li></ul><ul><li>Manning an HE fair stand </li></ul><ul><li>Sometimes with another ambassador or member of staff, sometimes by yourself. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Student Recruitment <ul><li>5 members of staff, including 2 enquiries assistants </li></ul><ul><li>All deliver presentations and visit schools, colleges and HE events </li></ul><ul><li>Will be able to offer some support and advice for events </li></ul>

Important Information <ul><li>MMIs: </li></ul><ul><li>An innovative and new way of assessing applicants </li></ul><ul><li>A series of different, short ‘interviews/activities’ rather than a single long interview </li></ul><ul><li>Five minutes in each ‘station’ before moving on </li></ul><ul><li>Range of different activities that could involve: </li></ul><ul><li>- Answering questions </li></ul><ul><li>- Explaining your thinking </li></ul><ul><li>- Role play with an actor </li></ul><ul><li>- Practical tasks </li></ul>

Adjusted Criteria </li></ul><ul><li>For applicants who are not predicted AAA we will look at school performance and compare their grades to the average for their School </li></ul><ul><li>If their performance is 60% above their School average they will still be considered for an interview and may receive a lower offer to minimum of BBCb </li></ul>
