Mortgage Banker Assistant to Top Producer A top Houston Mortgage Banker for a successful Houston mortgage company is looking for a go-getter assistant……someone who’s a self starter, and efficient multi –tasker, great with people…..and who wants to be close to the front line……without being on it. Perhaps you’re a loan officer who doesn’t want to be a loan officer. Or you’re someone who has worked in real estate or real estate-related business, such as a real estate company or title company as an assistant or transaction coordinator. You’ll really be doing 5 jobs in one. The office manager, the website and e-mail manager, the transaction coordinator, and the client service manager. And in helping the agent grow their business, you’ll share the rewards Chances are, you’re an organization whiz. You like to set up systems that make an office run more efficiently. You’re definitely computer savvy. You know your way around the internet and can figure out new ways to use it to keep in touch with clients. You really know word, excel, publisher, contact management and data base software and pick up new software without breaking into a sweat. Not to keep you at the keyboard all day, because you’re also great with people….even if they’re cranky, demanding or scared. You’ll be answering phones, working with clients, agents, trades people, coordinating preparation of listings, marketing,……and developing new ways to keep in touch with clients. Multi-multi-multi-tasking at a very fast pace is no problem for you. You can talk, walk, chew gum and smile at the same time….organizing email, answering phones, preparing marketing materials, coordinating closing preparations and checking transaction paperwork.
  • 2. You’ll be a key part of a fast growing Real Estate Agent team, who can set up the systems to help the team grow. And as the team grows, your rewards grow. Hours are 20-30 a week. Monday through Friday, 9-1 or 2 You have at least 2 years professional office experience and real estate or mortgage experience plus a minimum 2 years of college. You’ll need a car to run errands if needed. Compensation: $8 - $10/ hr depending on hours, experience and bonus. Contract job.
