  • 2. • Is a team of around 20 staff funded to support staff in Universities and the Skills Sector – Unis, Colleges, Adult and Community Education etc. • Delivers a range of face-to-face and online workshops • Based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne but runs workshops across the UK • Training materials public domain • Increasing amount of ‘consultancy’ JISC Netskills
  • 3. Borders College • Small FE College in Galashiels • Shared campus with Heriot Watt • Regional influences: • Textile industry • Land-based • Sports: mountain biking rugby union • E-learning evangelist!

E-learning @ Borders College • TRANSFORM project 2010: • Working with local SMEs to create relevant online learning materials • Collaborations with regional FE Colleges • BOLT project 2012 – Phase 1 Jisc FE/Skills • Creation of toolkit to enable other organisations to embed e-learning as core • E-learning ‘team – part-time/seconded • Netskills/BC partnership
