  • What is ePaceePace is a simple online assessment for children aged 7 to 17 years, the results of which are used to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses in a range of skills and abilities essential for learning. ePace examines how well each child can process, retain and recall information, helping teachers to understand learning of students. This is achieved through using assessments that test auditory memory, visual memory, listening , literacy, mental speed, decision- making, emotional control, focus, impulse, control, hand-eye coordination and timing Results from each student’s assessment are fed into a unique class profile. This gives teachers an instant picture of the talents and challenges of every pupil. Understanding the learning profile of the whole class gives the teacher the ability to organise groups with similar skills accordingly which greatly enhances opportunities to teach and plan effective and gives teachers a real opportunity to practice personalised learning in the classroom and reach every pupil. ePace highlights the underpinning abilities that affect learning; therefore providing an insight into the reasons why a pupil may be struggling or excelling in certain areas of learning. Very often the results from ePace give ‘the missing piece of the jigsaw’ and will help both teacher and pupil make sense of why there could be a barrier or challenge for effective learning. After the assessment, an ePace Profile is generated for the individual student and it gives feedback and advice on what they need to focus on.
