Begins with the regeneration of the heart’s attitude
Is for all because all are in need
Acts thoughtfully in the midst of adversity
Is most effective when you feel most-unlike giving it
Brings reprieve to the unforgivable
Defuses anger and encourages connection
Creates opportunity for edification
True Kindness:
Responds gently with much patience
Blesses others with the best of ourselves
Becomes the ultimate self-sacrifice
Is a gift that transcends every creed, culture, and class
Is best bestowed when unwarranted, nor earned
Enriches the giver with fortitude
True Kindness:
Holds a space for healing
Is a genuine smile offered, though compelled to look away
Doesn’t succumb to fears and insecurities
Picks up the pieces when others cannot
Glues relationships back together again
Transforms lives more quickly than anything else
True Kindness:
Thrives when we no longer fear success of others
Has no room to work when pride takes center stage
Can only be willingly given –and never… can it be taken
Adds warmth to every life
Secures wellbeing and adds depth and breadth to the soul
Gives valuable purpose to existence
Spawns the regeneration of others so they too, may act -in kind
Therefore, true kindness must be intended, met with purposeful action, given freely, and shared regularly. It’s the only kind of exercise that reshapes relationships and lives; a muscle that must be utilized or will be lost to the body, heart, and soul.
Kindness doesn’t come naturally, though it naturally IS the most patient of emotions and strength-laden actions…always letting anger, strife, envy, selfishness, and fear -go first. Not to be confused with weakness, kindness is meekness; the chosen merciful restraint and/or gracious actions toward others.
