It was also and industrial place, the fourth in importance in Spain, due to the production of coal and metal but some year ago this came to and end and now it has got some tecnological firms. As it’s cheaper to produce abroad most of the companies are setting up in other countries such as China, Morocco, Mexico, etc. Which is causing an economical crisis in our country and therefore lots of students who get their university degrees have to go abroad to be able to get a suitable job.

In 1868 they entrusted him the production of rails for the railroad of Northwest, which provoked the installation of a workshop of rails.

Duro transfered his patrimony to the public company Hulleras of the North.

Since then, Duro Felguera devoted itself specifically to the production of capital goods.

Mario

Globalization is the increasing integration into a single global capitalist market.

Globalization is defended by neoliberalism embodied in international bodies WTO, IMF and WB and is rejected by anti-globalization groups.

It is questionable to link globalization with an extra dimension-economic (human) .But to do so would cover issues such as global climate change, cultural imperialism against.
