  3. 3. According to the old Silesian Chronicle which was written in XIIIcentury , Kazimierz Odnowiciel came back to country , destroyedheavily by Brzetysław ‘s the Czech prince Attacks and PaganAnarchy and stayed on Lednogóra Island.

Because Giecz, PoznaŃ and Gniezno were very destryed, KazimierzOdnowiciel (Casimir The Restorer) used the location of Lednogóra Island.On the Island and in the near cities created branches ofknightood, warriors and armed people in order to attack Masław whooccupied more and more of Great Poland (Wielkopolska).
