What is the Legislative ? * Made up of the congress and government agencies.* Article 1 of the constitution established this branch and gave congressthe power to make laws.* Congress has two part: Senate and House of Representatives. • Say yes or no to any treaties the president • Start laws that make people makes. pay taxes. • Say yes or no to any people the president • Decide if a Gov. officials be put recommends for jobs. • Can hold a trial for a Gov. official. on trial before the Senate.

  4. 4. What is the Executive ? * This branch makes sure the laws of the United States are obeyed.* The President is the head of this branch.* The President gets assistance from the vice president,department heads and independent agencies.

What is the Judicial ? * Made up of the court system.* The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land.* Article 111 of the constitution established this court and allother Federal courts were created by Congress.* Courts decide arguments about the meaning of the laws, howthey are applied, and whether they break the Constitution.
