  2. 2. Sharks<br />Sharks have been around for 40 million years<br />And can live up to 280 or 225 years old.<br />
  3. 3. Description<br />Sharks are mammals that give birth to live babies called pups. the largest shark is the great white shark which grows up to 6m long. there are many different types including Great Hammerhead, Basking, Tiger and Great White Shark. <br />
  4. 4. Sharks have 4 rows of teeth that they use to bite into their prey and swallow it whole. it can weigh up to 1tonne and it is grey and white. The body parts I find interesting is the is the gills they are found in South Africa and in North America. <br />D2<br />
  5. 5. Most sharks like deep warm water to live in , they can live up to 3km deep. The only real enemy that sharks have are humans but they are really more scared of us than we are of them. They mistake people for seals and can attack surfers.<br />habitat<br />
  6. 6. Sharks are carnivores and eat anything that gets in their way including other sharks. Some sharks will die if they stop swimming but some like carper shark lives on the ocean bottom.<br />Food<br />
