  4. 4. <ul><li>People who eat junk food very often gain a lot of weight and get fat. </li></ul><ul><li>Junk food can cause health problems to your organs. </li></ul><ul><li>From the sugar in junk food, you can get fillings in your teeth . </li></ul><ul><li>Cholesterol and salt is known to set off blood pressure, stroke and heart diseases. </li></ul><ul><li>The salts in junk food can affect the functioning of your kidneys. </li></ul>How does junk food affect us? <ul><li>High calorie in sugar can lead to obesity . </li></ul>

What parts of our body does junk food affect? <ul><li>The heart - you can get heart disease </li></ul><ul><li>Your appearance – high calorie in sugar can lead to obesity (overweight) </li></ul><ul><li>Kidneys - the salts from the junk food can affect the functioning </li></ul><ul><li>Your blood – cholesterol and salt are known to set off blood pressur e </li></ul>
  6. 7. In some ways, some junk food CAN be good for your body. For example, if you want some takeaways, try a healthy option of takeaways with food that’s good for your body. Or ….. If your about to play a netball game, you could eat a small bar of chocolate so the sugar can give you some energy, it only affects you if you eat it all the time.
  7. 8. This is called a food pyramid. It tells you how to eat healthy. The junk food is at the top of the pyramid because we are supposed to eat them the least. Then there’s the milk and meat, fruits and vegetables, and finally, the breads and cereals.
  8. 9. As you can see, junk food is to be eaten not very often, but as a treat. If you think that your eating to much junk food, start eating the GOOD food, like bread, fruit and vegetables. I’m not saying not to eat junk food ever again, just don’t eat it all the time. I hope you will take my advice on junk food. THIS IS
