  • From Mughal-E-Azam to JodhaAkbar, cinema has held us captive. Butthe old single screen theatres whichbrought the magic is under threat. Thefront row, the rear stall, the balcony, thedress circle and the box are terms thathas been forgotten.Today, the Delhi’s single screen theatresare fighting to keep pace with the times.
  • Golcha Cinema, Box office: Designed by W M Namjoshi, the cinema is asplendid example of 1950’s Retro-Art déco style
  • Regal Cinema: New Delhi’s first Theatre designed by Walter Sykes George in1932
