“Ground handling” means:
In aviation, ground handling defines the various

By improving services it minimized delay in on time-

Security hold area
AISATS mission is to provide good passenger service from the
time passenger enters the terminal building.
Often passengers are new to airport and are tensed how to
proceed, they need guidance.
Services start from floor walking, here passenger's are guided
to respective check-in counters.
After the security check, passenger enters SHA, here the
passenger is guided towards the boarding gates and fulfill their
queries, if any.
passengers will be helped to cross the security check soon
during the final call of the aircraft.
Gate Controlling provides two benefits, they are:
Airline has to keep the record that how many passengers has
pass through the security check. This record must tally with
the no. of passengers checked-in at the counters.
During the final call for the flight departure, the staff can
cross-check the record and trace the passengers who are
missing during the boarding time.
Passengers who is been shifted to transfer flight to reach their
final destination at via airport is known as Pax Transfer.
AISATS has been implementing new strategies to attract the
passengers which indeed gaining them increase in passenger
load and profits. This service is to help out Transfer
passengers to avoid confusion while boarding a transfer flight
at via airport.
During my project with AISATS I learned what are the

departure of an aircraft.

Ground Handling Agency plays a major role now in Indian
aviation from baggage to passenger handling.
Airports should use modern technology to avoid huge
expenses bared by GHA, in return they can cost low to the
Indian aviation is still in growth so; airlines need GHA to
Air India had a gain of 45cr, with the help of its ground
handling agency AISATS because it is playing major role in
handling whole operations. Air India which had debts since
years has finally faced profits.
(Times of India- 2012)
AISATS has gained the permission to handle Air India at
Trivandrum airport; sources reveal because of CIAL which is
competitor for AISATS has lost a client of Air India which is
Qatar because of its poor service. So, AISATS with its
efficient operations gave an impression through which they
were given contract to handle.
