  • 6. 3 ¶ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
  • 7. Note first the emphasis of scripture.
The eternal person and character of the creator.
Since he was in the beginning, and since, “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made”(John 1:3) then we must conclude the author wanted us to believe that in the John 1:3 says beginning there was only God.
He is therefore the author and designer of everything.
  • 8. Three primary questions.
    Who am I?
    Why am I here?
    • How do I fulfill my purpose?
