ICT REVOLUTION • Educators are deploying ICT to improve the quality of the instructions. • There has been a growing use of ICT across the globe to enhance classroom teaching and learning. • There is considerable research evidence that students are more engaged, show increased interest and are highly motivated when their learning is integrated by ICT.

  4. 4. DOCUMENT CAMERA • Document cameras are indispensable teaching tools. • Its use enhances the productivity of the lessons and efficiency of the instructors to deliver lessons. • Document cameras add interactivity to the lessons and visualizations of the subjects in the classroom.
  5. 5. DOCUMENT CAMERA • They are used to display any text material, slides, negatives or any 3-D object. • These cameras are used to project the things onto the projection screen, interactive whiteboard, plasma television and computer.
  6. 6. PROJECTOR • The use of projector has revolutionized the teaching learning in the modern classrooms. • It is an ICT device used to display information stored in computer.
  7. 7. DIGITAL SIGNAGE • Helps to have speedy and efficient interaction with students, parents and visitors. • It comprises of flat, high definition interactive panels such as plasma or liquid crystal display (LCD) screens.
  8. 8. DIGITAL SIGNAGE • It is used to display news bulletins, alert messages, videos, visual messages, warning messages, special messages, and other forms of content across a campus similar to the television display.

ICT BASED EDUCATIONAL CONTENTS • There is a paradigm shift from traditional to ICT based educational content. • Educational content may be in the form of visual images, audio, or video with sound and animation. • It helps in generating interest in the students towards the dry and difficult subjects.

ICT BASED EDUCATIONAL CONTENTS • A high quality educational content enhances the students’ knowledge about the subject and creates a learning environment which is full of motivation. • A multimedia educational content improves the student memory and engagement in the classroom. • It has made the learning environment interactive, synergetic and informative.
  11. 11. AUDIENCE RESPONSE SYSTEM • To facilitate instant feedback to the teacher and help him collect the data to evaluate about the understanding of the subject, the classrooms have also started using the audience response systems.

  14. 14. FUTURE CLASSROOM Every student will have an access to the word of information and instruction right in front of them in the form of Digital Think Machine. The classroom will be fully digitized, laser key boards and touch sensitive desks will replace traditional keyboard.
  15. 15. FUTURE CLASSROOM • The E-pads and stylus will be used to take down the notes in the classroom, which will automatically be scanned, copied and Emailed to the users account. • The classroom will completely devoid of paper.

  18. 18. FUTURE CLASSROOM • The problem of language will also be solved as the machine will process the presentation in a custom language and student will be able to hear it with the help of Hi-Fi earphones with adjustable volume.
