  • 3. The Konkan Turtle Festival • The Konkan festival is held generally in the months of February-March, 2014.   • 4. Goa Carnival • People from all over the world come to celebrate the Goa carnival which is held in the lively state of Goa.   • 5. International Yoga Festival • The International Yoga Festival was held in 2013 from the 1st of March-till the 7th of March. Will be held from the 1st of March- 7th of March. Almost 400 people from 30 different countries came to attend this festival.   • 6. Paripally Gajamela • The Paripally Gajamela is a temple festival of Kerala in which one can see almost 50 highly decorated elephants.   • 7. World Living Heritage Festival • This festival is organized by the Royal family of Mewar. They aim at promoting the cultural diversity of the Mewar region..   • 8. Chinakkathoor Pooram • The Chinakkathoor Pooram is an elephant pageant, which is held on the last day of the festival at the Sree Chinakkathoor Bhagavathy Temple.   • 9. Thirunakkara Arattu • The Thirunakkara Arattu is a 10 day long popular temple festival of Kerala. One can see a procession of decorated elephants which are accompanied by drummers and other performers. The temple god which is to be bathed is carried out in this procession.   • 10. Jaipur Elephant festival • The Jaipur Elephant festival is celebrated in the city of Jaipur. The festival is celebrated on the eve of Holi every year, the Elephants are decorated and paraded around the city.
