I’m 16 years old living in famous city of Ghats, Varanasi. When I was born I got severe jaundice. My mom says that I was unable to hear and speak by birth i.e. deaf. It was all because of my mother’s effort that I am who I am. Since I could’t talk much, from an early age my mother always encouraged me to express myself with the help of paper and pencil. I used to draw almost anything, from a butterfly in garden to sketch pictures of my family. Art became my passion at an early age in life.

Me, my Deafness and my Art Me, my Deafness and my Art Presentation Transcript

    • HELLO !! MY NAME IS ROHAN JAISWAL
    • I am studying in tenth grade, Sunbeam School Bhagwanpur. I was born on 26th September 1998. I’m 16 years old living in famous city of Ghats, Varanasi. I live with my parents and my elder brother who is an architect. My best friends are boy named Prakhar Singh and Suryansh Singh.
    • With my… father Pramod Jaiswal, mother Sadhana Jaiswal, and brother Rohit Jaiswal.
    • This is me, Age 3 When I was born I got severe jaundice. My mom says that I was unable to hear and speak by birth i.e. deaf. It was all because of my mother’s effort that I am who I am.
    • Since I couldn’t talk much, from an early age my mother always encouraged me to express myself with the help of paper and pencil. I used to draw almost anything… from a butterfly in garden to sketch pictures of my family. Art became my passion at an early age in life.
    • My passion for art has always been deeply rooted when I was young, at the age of four. I can still remember sitting down with a pack of crayons, bursting at the seams to fill that blank white paper. I also found that by blending them together I could create a color that I did not have. That was a very exciting thing for me.
    • I continued to sketch in my class and at my home. But I did not want to waste my time with having to take beginner art class. I was always doodling with sketches and I spent many hours sitting outside the room in the hall and not focusing on my studies. I did learn but my passion was always focused on art.
    • Here are some of the experiments I did in classroom. A man first getting punched and now he is weeping.
    • Few other experiments In the class room. Old man getting angry on an innocent boy.
    • What am I doing now ? I'm still growing, still learning and still having fun. I go to a normal school, do exams and homework and play computer games. I play sport, go out with mates and just sit around watching films. I'm not a writer creation, I'm just a 16 year old kid. Who is also writing his first book.
    • My inspirations My teachers have always inspired me. My favourite teachers are Gurmeet Kaur, Madhulika mam, Sanjay Sharma, Sonam Mehra and many more... They held my hand from beginning believed in me and taught me like any other normal kid.
    • Where I see myself in future ? Future is really something which can’t be defined and bounded in any boundaries. It’s certainly can’t be decided too. Yes I have some plans and goals that I have decided for me but it’s better to keep them a secret for now. Let’s see where life takes me? Yes whatever I shall be doing, I guarantee you that it will be with full passion and dedication.
