Udi Peless and Shai Abramson established Friendly Machines in 1995 to develop the world's first robotic lawn mower. They converted a walk-behind lawn mower into the first prototype. After developing additional prototypes, the "Classic" model was publicly introduced in 1997. In 1999, the company changed its name to Friendly Robotics and introduced new RL series models in 2000 with an added base station in 2004. A joint venture led to a robotic vacuum cleaner in 2003.

10. Vacuum Cleaner
A joint venture with the Hoover company
led to the introduction of a robotic vacuum
cleaner in 2003

11. Branding
In 2005
Became the brand.
Friendly Robotics is the name of the company,
but its logo is no longer used.

12. Environmental friendly
Also in 2005, we added to the company the idea of a
Green product, Robomow is making as minimal impact
on the environment as possible.

13. RM Series
In 2008 we came out to the market with
the third generation- the RM series

14. In 2010, distribution was expanded to the modern trade
in Europe via the introduction of the Robomow City line
