Tools to Identify Who’s Talking About You and Your Brand <ul><li>Here are my FAVORITE tools to use! </li></ul><ul><li>Google Alerts </li></ul><ul><li>Twitter Alerts </li></ul><ul><li>SocialMention.com </li></ul><ul><li>If you are reluctant to “launch out into the deep” of social media, I recommend that you FIRST learn who is talking about your brand, church or you. </li></ul><ul><li>Sign up to receive an email based on keywords that you set. </li></ul><ul><li>Keywords should include anything attached to your BRAND. </li></ul>

Facebook – for people who already know you. <ul><li>Connects people PERSONALLY and PROFESSIONALLY through connections using messages, photos and videos </li></ul><ul><li>Fan (LIKE) Pages allow you to interact with customers, clients and prospects. </li></ul><ul><li>Personal Pages: you don’t have to accept requested friendship. You can be yourself on your personal page. </li></ul>

Twitter – to get know someone else <ul><li>Allows you to TALK to your clients. </li></ul><ul><li>Allows you to PROVIDE customer service. </li></ul><ul><li>Allows you to DRIVE traffic to your blog or website. </li></ul><ul><li># - Use hashtags to create a “stream” about your subject. </li></ul><ul><li>Comment in 140 characters </li></ul><ul><li>Use short url’s </li></ul><ul><li>Use twitpics </li></ul>
