Social Media in Politics• Opposition uses Social Media to attract supporters and engage them in conversations.• Opposition gets large turnout in Rallies.• Once politically apathetic youth are participating and sharing information as well.
SG Elections• PAP wins 81/87 seats even when she failed to engage with supporters online.• PAP wins with slimmest victory, 60.1% of overall votes.• Nicole Seah became one of the most popular politician after the elections, even though she lost.
Google+ for Businesses• Google+ allows businesses and brands to join.
SMRT Crisis• MRT trains breakdown in tunnel for hours and people have to break window for ventilation and there is also PR crisis communications failure.• Memes!!!
