  • 4. The web site will demonstrate how the release of doves can add a special element and memory to a wedding or other significant event. The web site will offer users the ability to purchase the services of rental doves to release in a wedding ceremony or public event in Hawaii, USA. Dove Releases have long been symbolic of peace, love, innocence and purity. Because doves court each other, basically fall in love with one another, mate for life and share family responsibilities, they are ideal symbols for brides and grooms worldwide. For this reason, couples have long been releasing doves at weddings signifying of their love, devotion and promise to each other. Objectives

    • The goal of the web site will be for users to be motivated to purchase the services of rental doves to release in a Hawaiian wedding ceremony or public event.

  • 10. User Scenario Once on the Home page the user will view introductory text about the service of the web site which is the rental of doves to release at wedding and other ceremonies. They will view a scrolling/flash pictorial of dove releases at weddings. They will have the option to go straight to the payment page via a prominently placed link on the homepage. They will have a navigation bar that in addition to offering a payment page also offers a “Hawaiian ceremony history” page or “other ceremonies” page or a “contact” page. Optimistically assuming the user is ready to purchase a dove release package, the payment page will reflect 3 to 4 pricing packages to choose from. The user will be prompted to fill in their billing and credit card information and sent a confirmation E-mail to their E-mail address. This will include a date of delivery confirmation and a thank you for the order.

The site will feature SSL pages. We will require the user to provide billing information. We will include detailed instructions about how to enter the credit card information. We will give them detailed information how to enter address and contact information (such as telephone number). We will use feedback screens to inform the user where they may have made an error in the ordering process, to inform the user that their order is being processed and to inform them that their order was successfully processed. • Pricing • Feedback screens • Confirmation page/email • Link to the Better Business Bureau • Help/contact information Contact Form This will be the alternative option to the online payment. The user will fill out their contact information including phone number and E-mail information.
