Robert Geneid launches his own profile site in order to inform and educate the public about his experiences
and achievements.
Borsamulu Resort Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Robert Geneid, has launched his own official personalised
profile site at www.robertgeneid.my today. The new profile site contains his official biography and photos.
The website’s purpose is to educate and inform the public on the Managing Director’s experience and
achievements.
About the technology
The site is built on the latest HTML5 and content management technology from wix.com. It is fully hosted
on a secure, reliable and dedicated server. Wix.com provides the backend to the system and allows the site
to be fully managed with additional features such as the photo gallery, social buttons and other apps.
About the Managing Director
Robert Geneid is the Managing Director for Borsarmulu Resort Sdn. Bhd. He is an Australian born business
leader, civil engineer and lawyer. He earned his first degree in Civil Engineering from the University of
New South Wales in 1976. He then returned to further his studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Law
degree in 1985.
He has practised as a lawyer in Australia before. He was a solicitor with Freehill, Hollingdale and Page
where he was responsible for the legal aspect of major construction projects amongst other things. He was
also a partner with the leading Australian Law firm, Mallesons Stephen Jacques, now known as King &
Wood Mallesons.
He is also actively involved with the tourism industry. Through Borsarmulu Resort, he owns and operates
the Royal Mulu Resort, a world class resort nestled in the foot hills of Gunung Mulu, deep in the rainforest
of Sarawak. The hotel, which has hosted HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, is a 188 room property and is
situated just next to the Gunung Mulu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Robert Geneid is
also the Managing Agent of the park, through his other company, Borsarmulu Parks Management in
conjunction with the Sarawak Forestry Department.
