academic centers in different capacities. He attended Union
College, Schenectady, New York to receive Bachelor of Science
degree, and Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York
to complete his MS degree. Moreover, he also holds MD degree
from Wayne State University Medical School, Detroit, Michigan.
The Wayne State University School of Medicine is the largest
single-campus school in the United States, with over 1, 000
medical students. Aside from undergraduate medical
education, the school offers Ph. D., master’s degree and M.D.-
Ph.D. programs in 14 areas of basic science.

industry. He worked with Supergen from 1999 to 2001-IND,
Protocol design and was also a Speaker to develop the drug
Nipent in Malignant Lymphoma and CLL.

Currently, Robert Drapkin MD is affiliated with many reputed
hospitals, including Morton Plant Mease- Dunedin Hospital,
Morton Plant Mease- Countryside Hospital, Clearwater,
Morton Plant Hospital-Clearwater, Largo Medical Center and
Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs. He started the
stem cell program at Morton Plant Hospital and has been
serving as Co-Director of this program since 1992.
