  • Many people from the Minecraft community like to advertise this game however it never gets to the television, it only goes as far as youtube and I think it is time for to rise just that bit more. Not many people find out what Minecraft is easily and advertising it on television will help it become even more popular than it is.

  • 1. • It is a pixels game that is completely made out of blocks. • You have to pay to be able to get online and, you can play offline for free. • Minecraft is a java based game design meaning that you don’t need a fancy computer to be able to play it. • This game has had many people play it including famous you tubers like Captain Sparkles, and have gave out information to many people about the game by making videos on it.
  • 2. The information I got for the target audience was a website called survey monkey, that allowed me to create an online survey. To show what type of people play this game and how often they play it a day. My research shows that people from the age range of 10 to 18 play this game and they play it around about 6 – 4 hours a day.
  • 3. I have looked at other adverts to do with this game and it shows that there are a lot of adverts for this, meaning that the market for this product is highly satiated. Some other market research that I done was the type of games that are out there. And how many games are sold a year and that totaled it leads up to 1 million games a year.
  • 4. The Aim of this advert is to making it more of a popularly game and to show people what it can do, because most people criticize the game before even playing it. And this reduces the number of players, that play the game, and there are always constant up dates.
  • 5. The selling point of the advert is to demonstrate that the game has different ways of playing. I will show that you can build survive and mine.
  • 6. My storyboard is of game footage that shows point of view footage of the game being played. It will show the viewer how you can build and mine in the game and show them the different landscapes.
  • 7. This game looks at people aged to 8 to 16 year olds however there are a group of people that are around 30 to 40 years old that play it a bit more formal than people below age of 16.
  • 8. This will attract new buyers because it well encourage people to try it for free and if the like it they will buy it. People normally take on look at the gun then they judge it before playing the game it’s self. And some good games are like that including minecraft.
  • 9. I think the advert should be shown when the majority of the population are watching television because there is a lot of age difference in the playing of the game and showing it when a lot of people are watching say around 6:00 to 7:00 when most people are watching the television and having dinner and watching a show everyone likes watching, Simpsons and Futurama
