    1. Upper Back Pain Causes - Some Suggestions to Help Many, myself included, suffer from upper back pain. That dull ache that gets worse throughout the day. Sometimes starting as you get up, sometimes during the day at work and often at night when trying to relax. If you do nothing about it the pain seems to take over your life-always there-but it does not have to be that way.Upper back pain causes are very hard to diagnose but you should always seek the advice of a medical professional in an attempt to identify what is causing your upper back pain before trying to solve the problem. What is the cause of upper back pain? • The area we are referring to -Generally the upper back consists of the 12 vertebrae and attached ribs connecting to the breast bone. The Cause of upper back pain and some suggestions to help. • Pain in the upper back is related to either ligaments or tendons. Something causes them to be stressed or out of balance often as a result of an accident or an injury and slowly or sometimes quickly the pain magnifies. • Here are six often overlooked causes of upper back pain, which cause your muscles and tends to protest resulting in pain. • Sitting incorrectly in a position that results in your head forward and your shoulders back. Take time to notice the position you are reading this document in? Is your neck stressed? What about when you drive? • Sleeping- How much time do we spend in bed. Is the mattress to soft allowing your back to sag forcing your head and neck upwards? Is it too hard allowing no movement? Too many pillows will cause upper back pain your head should be above your shoulders not lower than them. • Bad posture . Take a note of how your standing or walking. Don't spend all your time looking down at the ground.
    2. • Bifocal lenses Do you really need them? Because of the way the lenses are designed it is natural to be constantly tilting the head forward and back. • Badly placed Computer/Video/ TV screens. If possible place your computer so that the center of the screen is eye height. If you are two fingered typist who needs to look at the keyboard try fitting the keyboard on a support. If your using a laptop try a laptop support desk to raise both the keyboard and screen. • Excess weight If you are carrying weight around your stomach it is like strapping a few bags of sugar around your waist - imagine relived you would be if you took the bags off? So what can YOU do? • Having suffered from upper back pain for years I have learned a few things to alleviate the problem. • At least once a day lie flat on the floor on your back. Relax and take a few deep breaths for a few minutes only. • Instead of a standard pillow try a round pillow. A cylindrical pillow will tend to roll towards your neck allowing your head to be supported but your neck not bent. • If you do nothing about it the pain seems to take over your life- always there-but it does not have to be that way. Well my friend I know what it feels like to suffer from back pain. I did for years before solving the problem. A nagging ache which sometimes progressed to a full blown throb, taking over my life and making me miserable. There are more methods I used but there isn't enough space here to list them. Stop the throbbing pain and forget about your back click the link to learn more and avoid Back Pain Lower Left Side again or visit http://stopmyachesandpains.com
