Lower Right Back Pain Do You Know What To Do About It - Presentation Transcript

    1. Lower Right Back Pain - Do You Know What to Do About It?? Anyone who suffers from lower right back pain will understand how the pain seems to take over your life. A catch 22 situation where the pain makes you think twice about moving in a certain way consequently limiting the movement on one side of the back results in it becoming worse. There seems to be several different categories of aching back .Both acute and chronic back pain can develop in different parts of the back ranging from mild discomfort to extreme pain which can seem to take over your life. As someone who has suffered intermittently for years from various aches an pains in my back I know that to some extend it can be self managed and prevention is better than cure. A deep dull aching or burning which occasionally travel down the leg normally indicates a chronic condition where as if the pain is sharp it may be as a result of an injury So what causes lower right back pain • Although it is an amazing combination of bone, ligaments tendons and nerves designed to be both strong and flexible, as with all engineering systems things can and often do go wrong. • Muscles may strain, joints get injured or wear out and parts (bones) break. Damage or wear of one part has a knock on effect leading to problems with other parts. The lower part of the back is the main load bearing section and is the most prone to problems. • Lower right back pain may occur as a result of constant working of this area. If anything wears out or is not flexible enough then pain occurs. • A major source of tension and unequal play within the lumbar area is stress. We tense up sometimes without even being aware
    2. of it and slowly pull our back to one side placing excessive stain on the other. • Bad Posture results in uneven stresses again producing pain as the back attempts to compensate. • Poor lifting methods often lead to spinal problems again as a result of parts being overloaded stressed or strained. • We often over estimate our own abilities, particularly as we get older, I am as guilty as anyone of this my mind still thinks I am 25! My back knows I am over 50 and acts accordingly. Excessive twisting or stretching without training or preparation is a recipe for disaster. Lower right back pain is an indication of problems. Injury or inflammation can result in spasms, considering the strength of the back muscles this can lead to even more damage, even torn muscles so for example wear and tear on the left side of back produces a spasm which pulls the back to the left tearing or damaging tissue on the right. All is not lost. There a few things you can do to prevent and cure the problem • Support your back! It supports you! Be aware of what's happening. If you feel something is irritating you back don't do it. • Try to sit on a hard high back chair with both feet flat on the ground • Do not sit down with legs crossed yes ladies even you- you are simple pulling your spine out of line. Well my friend I know what it feels like to suffer from back pain. I did for years before solving the problem. A nagging ache which sometimes progressed to a full blown throb, taking over my life and making me miserable. There are more methods I used but there isn't enough space here to list them.Stop the throbbing pain and forget about your back click the link to learn about Upper back pain causes or visit http://stopmyachesandpains.com
