7 Immediate Steps To Deal With Back Pain And Sciatica - Presentation Transcript

    1. I first suffered back problems in my twenties after jumping off a ladder while wearing breathing apparatus as a naval officer. Over the years I thought the problem had gone away. Medical checks revealed no structural damage or major problems and yet intermittently the problems return To some extent I have gone down the route most do. Avoiding situations that "stress my back" or put it at risk. I trained in karate and did weight lifting, no problem. Then I bend forward slightly to clean my teeth and bam a searing pain in the side of my back. Pain killers and a few days of taking it easy and all is back to normal and I forget I have a "bad back", until the next episode! Is this you? Do you suffer from un predictable intermittent back ache which varies in intensity and regularity. It seems to occur when you least need it right? When you're bogged down with work, the kids are off school or your miles from the nearest doctor? Perhaps some of my self help methods can help. 1. When the pain occurs stop what you're doing and immediately return your back into the position it was in before the pain occurred. Sounds obvious but by doing that you can prevent further pain. 2. Don't be afraid of taking pain killers. It will take the pain away and prevent your back seizing up due to lack of movement. 3. If you have a heat pad apply it. If not take a hot bath or shower. If your in a sunny climate lie in the sun for a short while with the sun on your back or if that is too uncomfortable site on a chair the wrong way round so you can lean gently over the back of the chair and allow the heat of the sun to warm your back. 4. Lie flat on the floor with a pillow under your knees. This will allow the base of the back to drop down over. 5. When in bed use only one pillow and sleep with a pillow between your knees. 6. Try sleeping on your back. To prevent yourself rolling onto your side place a pillow either side of you.
    2. 7. Walk around slowly for at least 15 minutes and listen to some music. This will loosen up your back and take your mind of the incident. There are either more specific techniques which you can learn to cope with back pain and cure your back ache.. Well my friend I know what it feels like to suffer from back pain. I did for years before solving the problem. A nagging ache which sometimes progressed to a full blown throb, taking over my life and making me miserable. There are more methods I used but there isn't enough space here to list them. Stop the throbbing pain and forget about your back click the link to learn more and avoid Stop Back Pain again or visit http://stopmyachesandpains.com
