7 Easy Ways To Cure Lower Back Ache - Presentation Transcript

    1. 7 Easy Ways to Cure Lower Back Ache Why is it so difficult to get good common sense advice when your back is throbbing and aching? I have my first seven tips that will help to sort your lower back pain h Smarten up and stand up straight Just for once take notice of how you are standing. Are you slouching? Bending forward? To one side? A simple fix is to consciously push your shoulders back and raise your neck. Do this several times a day and feel the difference. a Sit down correctly Probably the number one cause of lower back pain is sitting down for two long. The solution? Stand up! Stretch. Raise your keyboard and your monitor if possible to avoid stretching the lower back as you peer at the keyboard. Never sit for longer than 30 minutes without standing up and do not sit with your legs crossed. Get quality sleep Considering the time we spend in bed it is amazing how little thought we give to the quality of our bed. If you have a second hand mattress or one older than 5years its probably moulded out of shape. But the best mattress you can afford and experiment with the type and number of pillows you use. t Stretch The last thing you want to do is allow your lower back pain to take over and compound the issue. Do some research on line and look at stretching and mobility exercises. Check in your local area for a back pain support group they often run classes. You don't have to go every week. Just attend enough times until you have established a routine that suits you and stretch a little every day. y Do some light training such as easy martial arts Internal or soft martial arts concentrate on using and developing the bodies internal powers. When I worked in China , as I walked to work every morning I watch men and women in their 80's practicing Tai Chi, exercising with fans and swords. The were free of back problems
    2. Train your brain to co ordinate your body. Research indicates that if you follow a sequence of procedures and exercises your brain seems to program you body to stay in shape to deal with the regular sequence. For example learning to dance specific steps, a Kata in Karate, a sequence of Tai Chi Moves all help strengthen the body and assist with lower back pain a Mentally Relax More research indicates that stress anger and anxiety result in the brain reducing the blood supply to the lower back. Do something every day just for you. Water the garden, listen to some music through headphones, have a hot bath, anything that leaves you undisturbed and you associate with relaxing Well my friend I know what it is like to endure from back pain. I did for years before solving the problem. A nagging ache which sometimes progressed to a full blown throb, taking over my life and making me unhappy. There are more methods I used but there isn't enough space here to list them.
