Mumbai Terror Attack 2008.11.26 29o

  1. 1. Terror in Mumbai 2008.11.26 to 2008.11.29 This is a slide show meant as a memorial. I spent most of this thanksgiving holiday looking at various websites, blogs and participating from afar in the helpless anger-filled human folly that unfolded in Mumbai before my eyes and ears. It is a testament to some people who were brave, and a mark of respect to those who were not lucky. It is my way of expressing and dealing with the anger I feel at the senselessness with which human life is being treated by some. These images gripped me, and tell the story in ways that no commentator can. These are not my images – I have copied them from website and news articles. I hope that not only will we act to prevent such incidents from happening, but also to drive out the root causes that fester and lead to such incidents. I hope I am right about the resilience of people, and about the healing power of hope.
