Solution Deep Dive – Automated Data Flow • GL data from three source systems is automatically loaded into the consolidations model and flows through to the Cash Flow. • Changes made at any of the 40+ consolidation points in LC flow to the Consolidated Cash Flow Statement in USD using BPC business rules and data manager functionality. • Effect of Exchange Rate calculations have been automated through BPC Script logic. 10

Solution Deep Dive – Global Analysis Global sites now have visibility and have taken ownership of their own Cash Flow Statements Global users are able to quickly analyze and identify the impact on Cash Flow accounts using a custom input schedule and flow members 11 Cycle time to produce the consolidated Cash Flow Statement has been dramatically reduced

Lessons Learned • Do not underestimate the effort required for design, implementation, and testing. • Involve the right business resources early in the design process. • Due to the typical Finance/Accounting calendar, continuous management of resources is necessary. • Align project priorities with leadership goals and expectations – strong executive sponsorship is key. 12
