    • STaR stands for School Technology and Readiness. It is a tool for teachers and schools to use for planning and self-assessment. It is one way the state monitors progress toward meeting state technology goals and TEKS.
      What does “STaR” stand for?
    • It is a tool for teachers and schools to use for planning and self-assessment. It is one way the state monitors progress toward meeting state technology goals and TEKS.
      What is the STaR Chart?
      • The STaR Chart helps teachers identify their areas of strengths and weaknesses in technology.
      • The STaR Chart helps administrators know how to plan professional development activities for their teachers.
    • The STaR Chart helps schools and school districts track their progress toward meeting the goals set by NCLB.
      The STaR Chart helps schools and school districts develop and improve their technology plans.
      Why do we need the STaR Chart?
      • The STaR Chart helps school districts identify how and what they should spend their money with regards to technology infrastructure.
