    What does it mean?Why do we need it?
  • Guard your thoughts.
    What you’re feeling affects your doing.
    What you’re thinking affects your feeling.
    The battle is fought in our minds.

    To provide an identity

    Don’t make decisions when you’re emotional. Examine the thoughts that are affecting your emotions.
    Guard your mind against negative thoughts.
    Fill your mind with the word of God. Memorize Scripture.
  • Discussion
    Do you agree that our thoughts affect our feelings, and our feelings affect our actions? Give some examples in your own life.
    How can we guard our own thoughts? Give some practical ways or examples.
    What would you do differently starting today as a result of what you have learned?
