Who can be a LIFE Group Leader? • A committed RLCCnian for at least 3 months • Knows the Vision Frame of RLCC • Knows the Principles and Practices of Communityship (10 + 5) • Knows the Journey of Relationships (4 stages) • Knows the basic principles of leadership (credibility, context, and challenges) • Knows how to do LEAD • Willing to submit to the leadership of RLCC
  • 3. Types of Commitment in RLCC • Regular Attendee • Participating Member (SHARP) • Vision Partner (PROMISE) • MWAH (Missionary with apostolic heart) – someone enrolled in the Real Life Mentoring School
  • 4. Mission Make real life possible for real people Method GO, BRING, JOIN, BUILD, TRAIN VISION FRAME OF RLCC Motivation Faith Hope Love Mark of success A community of communities where the presence, power, and purpose of Christ are fulfilled in and through each one
  • 5. How to LEAD • Lead with a purpose. • Encourage participation. • Aim for unity through consensus. • Direct, coach, inspire or delegate.
  • 6. Using LEAD in a LIFE Group • Lead with a purpose –Welcome (new people/each other) –Worship (through songs, psalms, etc.) –Word (use LG Study Guide) –Webbing (in/out, sharing, experiences) –Warfare (prayer, fasting, intercession) –Works (GO, BRING, JOIN)
  • 7. Using LEAD in a LIFE Group • Encourage participation –Inform everyone of details of the meeting (why, where, when, who) –Give everyone a role –Encourage the timid –Control the domineering –Ask the Holy Spirit to lead
  • 8. Using LEAD in a LIFE Group • Aim for unity through consensus –Let each one speak without interruption –Teach each one how to actively listen –Echo what has been said –Ask for reaction or response –Summarize
