      • Reading text can then serve as a mentor text for writing.
      • Tsunami teaches students how to write an informational texts and provides an example of the finished product.

      • Having students relate their feelings is an excellent way of validating their feelings and them as people.

      • Cities should build skateboard parks.
      • Students should have more lunch choices at school.
      • Athletes should not be allowed to compete if they take steroids.
      • Why those under 18 have rights.

      • Students should learn the power of writing.
      • It should be stated that the impact of writing is based upon the response of the reader to what is written.
