  • 5. QUALITY. SERVICE. INTEGRITY.My wife, Shauna, and I have been happily married for 8 years andhave two beautiful children, ages 7 and 4. I love being a father andparticipating in the growth and development of each of my children. In my free time, I enjoy water and snow skiing, camping, hiking, and playing sports. Throughout my life, quality, service and integ-rity are three standards that have become an integral part of who Iam.Quality. The greatest pearls of wisdom I have received from myeducation are to work hard and to treat patients with the highestlevel of care. It is important to not only give patients what theywant, but for the quality of the work to be worthy of the patient’spraise.Service. As can be seen from the second half of my résumé, serviceis an important aspect of my life, and thus the specialty of Orthodon-tics is extremely satisfying to me. I enjoy working with kids andadults to create a change in their appearance that will give them abeautiful, esthetic smile and engender confidence.Integrity. Each day we are faced with choices that define our char-acter and how we treat other people. I feel it is essential to treat pa-tients and fellow staff members with the honesty, respect and dignitythat creates relationships of trust and mutual understanding. 4
