    2. WORK EXPERIENCE: 1. Worked as ‘Production and Quality control assistant’ in Grover Vineyards, Bangalore till December, 2008. I was Looking after quality control of raw materials procured, finished products, process parameters, GMP and general analytical tests involving biochemical, chemical, organoleptic as well as microbiological status of the wines. 2. Working as ‘Assistant Production Manager’ in MPS food ltd. In spices division, looking over total automation of plant, FFS, Pulvarizer, Tray Dryer etc and labour management according to production plans, since Feb, 2009. PROJECT: Institute: Dolphin (P.G.) College of Life Sciences, under Punjabi University, Patiala. Project Title: ‘Cider wine production using different yeast strains & comparing their efficiency, testing their antimicrobial activity towards E.coli’. Duration: 6 months (2007-08). (Project paper has since been accepted by reputed journal ‘FOOD AND BEVERAGE WORLD’). PROCESSES & EQUIPMENTS: • Alcoholic fermentation, distillation, bottling, blending, QC. & R&D in IMFL plants. • Milk and milk products, cheese production. • Food microbiology, spoilage and culture characteristics. • Recombinant dna technology involved in food processing industries. • Sugar production technology. • Total quality management and NCBI. • Food engineering and mechanism of gas liquid chromatography (GLC). • General wine analytical tests: volatile acidity using Cash-Still apparatus, Free & total SO2 using Aspiration method, Bento test for Preotein, dissolved Carbon di- oxide test using Carbodosieur, Temperature stability Tests, Cold Stability in Cellar tanks, Microbiological Tests, Acidity Tests, Malo Lactic fermentation tests using Chromatography, Reducing sugar using Rebelein method • I have experience of handling the following Instruments and equipments: Bench- top fermenter (10 ltr), Ph meter, spectrophotometer, refractometer, gel electrophoresis kit, HPLC, centrifuge, PCR, staining techniques, water quality testing, antibody sensitivity test, immunodiffusion, TLC etc. • Powder spices production, planning, GMP implementation & maintenance, machine handling, labour management & troubleshooting, to improve production quality and standard.
