The Business Model
Members can sign up for a free basic membership or pay for a premium membership also referred to as a ‘freemium’ business model.
The revenue stream comes from: (1) commissions from sales of goods and services on the market place, (2) third-party advertisement on the platform and in the videos, and (3) sales of premium memberships. The latter is the most dominant source of revenue.

The Wexer Team
Wexer is headed by Chairman of the Board Frank J. Napolitano and CEO Rasmus E. Ingerslev.

Frank J. Napolitano is CEO and President of GlobalFit. He has been in the health club industry since 1984 and is a member of the Board of Directors and past President of IHRSA, the largest and only worldwide association for the health and fitness club industry.

Rasmus E. Ingerslev is the founder and CEO of Wexer. In 2001, he co-founded fitness dk, the largest fitness chain in Denmark. In 2007 Rasmus was honoured with the European Club Leadership Award (IHRSA) and he is currently a member of IHRSA’s European Council and Chairman of the Board at the software company eXerp.

The Wexer Team
The remaining members of the Board of Directors count David Patchell-Evans (GoodLife Fitness, Canada), Steven L. Schwartz (TCA Holdings and MidTown Athletic Clubs) and Paul J. Kuebler (Gold’s Gym, Russia, Iberia, Eastern and Central Europe).

Besides the Board of directors the CEO has an active Advisory Board with complementary backgrounds within exercise TV/Media, Internet, legislation and strategy, as well as several years of senior level business experience.
