Join Ricky Smith for 2 days of education and learning around PM Effectiveness. This is a
“hands on” event so bring your computer and your most critical PMs with you.

2 Day Event – (optional is one day), “How to Evaluate and Optimize your Current PM Program”

Bring a sampling of your current PMs along with a few of your staff or key maintenance personnel. This
workshop was designed so you can make this journey on your own and be successful.

Thursday, October 18, 2012 & Friday, October 19, 2012
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day

Does your staff perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on equipment that continues to fail? If your facility or organization
suffers from this problem, this workshop will help eliminate unnecessary PM tasks and improve your plant’s
performance.

By the end of this workshop, you will know how to evaluate your PM’s and measure their effectiveness, as well as how to
modify them if required. These tasks are a requirement for ensuring a continuous improvement process is in place for
your PM Program.

Topics taught in this workshop include:

    - What are failure modes and how do you identify them?
    - What is the P-F Curve and how does it correlate with your PM Program?
    - How is a PM Evaluation conducted, step-by-step?
    - How is a PM optimized to ensure it is repeatable and effective?
    - How is the effectiveness of a PM Program measured by equipment, area, and plant or site?

This workshop will change your life by changing the way you view and manage PM in your organization. Additionally,
since this workshop deals directly with existing PM’s from your facility, you will leave with actionable items that can be
implemented upon your return. Due to the interactive nature of this workshop, bring 100-200 PM tasks in Excel, an open
mind, and a partner/team from your company to change your PM’s.

You will take home a complete PM Evaluation for the PM tasks that you bring to the conference, a PM template that can be
used at your site to optimize your PM Program, new PM’s that were rewritten from your existing PM tasks to ensure they
are effective, and a Maintenance Metrics Dashboard that is used to determine if your PM’s are effective.
