  • According to a survey taken by the CTIA, 91% of all Americans use cell phones. That equates to about 285 million people using mobile phones. 257 million mobile phones are data capable and around 50 million people own and use smart phones, 3G/4G powered phones and mobile tablets on a daily basis. \n
  • When customers buy a phone, they want to be able to access the internet. Because more people rely on their mobile phones to access the internet, there has been an increase in the amount of mobile sites being published. \n
  • Mobile is constantly growing, and with each new step forward in mobile advancement comes a need or demand for different apps, and a better user experience. Smart phones are on pace to produce more that the desktop computer and heavy mobile data users will triple to around one billion. \n\n

  • While tablets are becoming increasingly popular, the web experience is constantly being reconstructed and redesigned and improved. \n\n
  • With Skyfire mobile web browser nearly every webpage that is searched and clicked on, can be brought to your phone in desktop or mobile versions.   • As you can see the mobile version of the site is not as user friendly nor as attractive as the full desktop version. \n
  • In this example the mobile version is more user friendly than the desktop version which is cluttered and jumbled. This is partly due to the new idea of designing a mobile version first and then expanding on the mobile to create a desktop version of websites. \n
