Slide 7: Ideas about Sketching Remember that sketching can be done nearly anywhere at anytime. True sketches do not have to be “photo-realistic”, sketches are drawings that describe ideas and moods. Your hand is not a drawing machine, it will need training. Your sketching will improve over time; never remove anything from your sketch book as this reduces your ability to see the progress that is being made.
